Karandash is a browser extension for quick notes, tasks, tags, screenshots, images and optional Google Drive synchronization.

What data Karandash stores

Karandash may store the following data when you use the extension:

Local storage

By default, Karandash stores data locally in your browser. Text data is stored in browser extension storage. Images and screenshots are stored locally in IndexedDB.

Karandash does not send your local notes, tasks, tags, links, screenshots or images to the developer's own server.

Google Drive sync

Google Drive sync is optional. If you connect Google Drive, Karandash stores a backup/sync file and attachment files in your own Google Drive appDataFolder.

Karandash uses Google Drive only to let your own browsers/devices restore and synchronize your data. The developer does not receive a copy of your notes or attachments through this sync.

Karandash requests Google account email and profile image only to show which account is connected.
